Vera Revis

Vera Mae Wicker Revis, 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 10, 2004.

She was born March 29, 1918, in Nevada County.

Mrs. Revis was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Missionary Church in Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Annie Wicker, brothers, Frank and John Henry Wicker, sisters, Maybelle Revis, Opal Callicott, and Ruth Kirk.

Survivors include: husband of 35 years, L.C. Revis of Benton; step-son, Jerry Revis of Houston, Tex.; daughter and son-in-law, Janette and Bill Lambert of Texarkana; step-daughter, Johnnie Sue Glass of Texarkana; sister, Marzell Kirk of Prescott; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with a 2:30 p.m. graveside service at Caney Cemetery near Prescott. Ministers were Rev. Chuck Norwood and Pastor J. Emerson.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Bible Missionary Church building fun, 126 I-30 West, Benton, Ark. 72015 or to the Apostolic Tabernacle building fund, 2314 Military Rd., Benton, Ark. 72015.
