Mildred HillPublished Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneMildred Marie Hill, 75, of Prescott, passed away March 30, 2004, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mildred was born January 18, 1929, in Delight, the daughter of Mack Dawson Hendrix and Minnie Alice (Hornaday) Hendrix. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church of Prescott. Survivors include: one son, Michael Eugene Hill of Gaithsburg, Md.; one daughter, Barbara Sampson of Prescott; one sister, Flora Alice Milner of Waco, Tex.; three grandchildren, James Sampson, Jeffery Sampson, and Michelle Fountain; and three great-grandchildren, J.D. Sampson, Samuel Fountain, and Amanda Fountain. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, D.S. Hill, one daughter, Betty Louise Hill, and two grandchildren, Stacy Renee Hill and George Daniel Sampson. Services for Mrs. Hill were Friday, April 2, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Chapel. Burial was held at Antoine Cemetery. Officiating the service was Bro. Neil Ridling and Bro.
