Ruby BeavertPublished Wednesday, March 31, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Ruby Mae Beavert, age 92, of McPherson, KS, formerly of Hot Springs and Prescott, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Cedars Healthcare Center in McPherson, KS. She was born August 8, 1911 in Prescott to William Newton and Rosie Pearl DeHan Goad. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Prescott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas H. Beavert; one son, Kenneth Beavert; one grandson, Randy Sandidge; three brothers, Howell, Lewie and Leland Goad; and four sisters, Lois Mansfield, Alma Allen, Katie Brooks, and Catherine Cunningham. Her survivors include: one daughter, Billie Sandidge and Jack of McPherson, KS; one son, Jimmie D. Beavert and Clo of Hot Springs; one daughter-in-law, Bettie Beavert of Rockwall, TX; four grandchildren, Tracy Viola and Jeff of McPherson, KS, Kyle Beavert of Hermosa Beach, CA, Kristi Justice and Gary of Sunnyvale, TX and Klay Beavert and Mitzie of Frisco, TX; six great grandchildren, Ryan and Morgan Viola, Steven Stringer, Cameron and Kasi Justice, and Kenneth Beavert. Graveside services were 1 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton Community in Prescott, with Rev. Ricky Burke officiating. Burial followed.
