Ruth BakerPublished Wednesday, March 31, 2004 in the Nevada County PicayuneRuth Baker, 81, of Bodcaw, passed from this life March 24, 2004 in Prescott. She was born March 3, 1923 in Hempstead County to Erastus and Carrie Mouser Aaron. Mrs. Baker was a retired homemaker and a member of the Bodcaw #1 Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, W.H. Hollen Baker and a grandson, Allen Baker. Survivors include, her children, Gary & Judy Baker, Marilyn & Dickie Carlton, Jimmy & Jennifer Baker, and Wanda Baker of Bodcaw; five grandchildren, Scott Baker, Shannon Flowers, Russ Carlton, Mark Baker and Diane Baker of Bodcaw; five great-grandchildren, Brittany, Amber, Matt and Alex Baker, and Walker Flowers; a special loved one, Bob Angel and his family, Rocky, Matt & Kim McAteer Angel, and the late Todd Angel, and five great-grandchildren, Courtney, B.J., Mandi, Michael and Mylisa Angel; four sisters, Lillie Mae Phillips and Zelma Mullins both of Hope, AR., Ruby Mullins of Richardson, TX. and Linda Loe of DeKalb, TX.; three brothers, Herman Aaron of Hope, Delbert Aaron of Prescott, and Raymond Aaron of Malvern, AR. Funeral services will held Friday March 26, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Bodcaw #1 Baptist Church with Bros. Tom Stevens, James Ross and David Hampton officiating.
