Myrtice Spears

Mrs. Myrtice M. Spears, 93, of Bellflower, Calif., formerly of Hope, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at her home.

She was born January 25, 1911, in Billstown, to John Joseph and Clara Alice Watkins Delaney.

She was a homemaker and a licensed beautician. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Spears.

Her survivors include: two daughters, Betsy Sterling and Caroline Gain both of Bellflower; one brother, Travis Delaney and Willie Mae of Gunter, Tex.; one sister, Vahnita Wilson of Magnolia; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Mr. Wallace Alexander officiating. Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery, Blevins. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
