BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, March 31, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Boughton Church will meet at the entrance of Piney Grove Cemetery Sunday morning, April 4, for their Easter sunrise service. After the service they will go back to the church where the men will serve the women breakfast. After breakfast they will continue regular service, have lunch at the noon hour and then have an Easter egg hunt for the children. Everyone is invited. John House of California is visiting his brother, Teddy House, of Powderly, Texas. Tuesday they visited Everett and Mary Orren. Mrs. Dorothy Inscore had bypass heart surgery recently. Tuesday she had balloon surgery on another blocked artery, but she is doing okay. Mrs. Lula Pruitt has also had heart surgery recently. She is at home doing alright. Elizabeth Wicker of Benton spent the weekend with her sister, Charlene Wicker. Their brother, Arel Dean Elmore, of Jacksonville spent Friday with them. L.C. Elmore and Eros (Elmore) Goodlow of Lexington, Mo., are spending the week with relatives, Francis and Shorty McDade, Gladys Wicker, Betty Sue and Emma Lou. Sammy and Kay House, Jason and Lauren of Little Rock spent Sunday with Lenord and Faye House. Lauren remained to spend the week. We are sorry to hear Steve Garner, son of Shorty and Dorothy Garner, had a heart attack. They think everything is going to be alright. Tommy, Criss and Kelli Elmore of Hamburg spent the weekend with Elsie Elmore and Pete and Cathryn Jester and Jimmy Joe. Robert and Sharla Orren of Hope and Shorty Garner visited Chloe Orren Sunday. Dawn Rudd and Mildred Belle of Camden had dinner Sunday with Katie Pittman and Sue Austin. Herbie Ridgell and Kay Wren spent the weekend with their mother, Doris Ridgell, and sister and brother-in-law, Bolitta and Terry Crabtree, of Ft. Worth. Our son, Willie Hugh Hooks, spent Tuesday with us. Other visitors during the week were Willie and Julene Hulan and our pastor, Bro. Mike Taylor.
