With Matt Hodges on the hill, the Bears were set down in order in the first, while the Wolves put a run across. M. Hodges got on board, advanced on fielder's choice by Zach Richards, and scored when Zach Martin singled.

The Wolves left two stranded.

Spring Hill's next three batters went down in order as well, with Hodges throwing heat. However, the same occurred for the home team.

Spring Hill took a 2-1 lead in the top of the fourth, while the host team again went down in order.

In the top of the fifth, the Bears sent six men to the plate, but were unable to push a run across.

Prescott, on the other hand, scored three. Ryan Roberson was fanned, with Eli Ratcliff walking to give the Wolves a runner. Phil Hull substituted for J. Hodges at the plate, hitting into a fielder's choice. M. Hodges singled, moving Hull to second, with Z. Richards loading the bases on a walk. Hull scored when Roman Richards walked, and an error at short saw M. Hodges and Z. Richards score, to put Prescott in the lead 4-2.

The Bears responded with three in the sixth, as the Wolves committed a trio of errors in the inning.

Prescott got a man as far as second in the bottom of the frame, but couldn't bring him home. The Wolves trailed 5-4 as the game entered the final inning.

The Bears pushed four across in the seventh, extending the lead to 9-4.

Prescott rallied with two in the bottom of the inning. Z. Richards walked, advancing when R. Richards also walked. Martin grounded to second, bringing Z. Richards home. Martin advanced on a fielder's choice and scored on an error by the shortstop.

M. Hodges was the losing pitcher, fanning three, walking none and giving up 11 hits.

Prescott scored six runs on seven hits.

In the classic, the Wolves posted a 10-0 win over Nevada, with Aaron Bullock throwing smoke as he fanned 13 and gave up one hit.

Prescott scored twice in the first, once in the second, another run in the third and five in the fifth when the10-run rule was invoked.

In the Wolves's second game, Prescott fell 10-9 to Lockesburg.

Prescott scored once the first, three times in the second, three more in the third and two in the seventh.

The Blue Darters posted a run in the first, one in the fourth, five in the fifth and three in the seventh for the victory.

Game three for the Wolves saw Prescott whip Gurdon 6-1, with Z. Richards firing nothing but heat, as he fanned 13 in the game.

Prescott scored once each in the first two frames, three times in the fourth and again in the fifth.

Gurdon's lone run came in the sixth.

Lockesburg whipped Nevada 14-3 in their game, then lost to Gurdon 9-0.

Nevada was unable to come up with a win in the tourney, as it lost 10-3 to the Devils when they met.
