CMS has joined schoolnotes.com

In an effort to make parents, students and the community more aware of what is taking place at Cabe Middle School, they have joined schoolnotes.com.

According to information found on the website, schoolnotes.com is the leading resource for linking educators to the community. schoolnotes.com provides individual teachers and school organizations a simple-to-use tool for placing homework and other school information on the Internet without having to worry about programming or any other complicated means for posting information on the world-wide-web.

No one has to worry about the service costing them anything as schoolnotes.com is a free community service.

Schoolnotes.com provides web pages for individuals, but not the actual web sites. Schoolnotes.com complements school web sites by adding the capability for individuals to post information on the web at any time without anyone else having to get involved. Most schools do not have this capability today. School web sites can link directly to individual's information on schoolnotes.com.

Underwriters, sponsors, are found and secured by Copernicus Interactive, Inc. Therefore, teachers do not have to find sponsors themselves.

There are no hidden costs for the community to use schoolnotes.com and there are no plans to charge a service fee in the future.

Schoolnotes.com is meant to be used by teachers, parents, and students to communicate school related information. Teachers are the primary creators of individual notes pages.

"We love it. It has helped us out tremendously and it is so informative," said Libby White, CMS Principal.

"We first heard about schoolnotes.com from another school during a presentation. When we heard the teachers could set up there on pages and no one extra would have to be involved, we wondered why we hadn't don this sooner," said Linda Gayle Hogue, secretary at CMS.

Hogue and White both agreed they felt the schoolnotes.com would help parents keep up with children's school work and make sure they were up to par.

Anyone who is interested in checking it out can got to www.schoolnotes.com and type in the Gurdon zip code (71743) and CMS will pop up on the screen. It is free and easy to use anytime.
