Lamae Rogers

Lamae Francis Rogers, 83, of Buckner, died Thursday, February 26, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born May 20, 1920 in Hempstead County.

Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker, a member of the Hinton Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D.L. Rogers, Jr.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Frances Rogers of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Gary and Darlene Rogers of Buckner; one brother, Narvell and Margie Burns of Jasper, Texas; one sister, Dorothia Camp of Hope; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2004, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Paul Lyons officiating with burial in the Union Cemetery in Bodcaw under the direction Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
