Annie Wicker

Mrs. Annie Wicker, 61, of Emmet, died Monday, February 23, 2004, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

She was born in Tenehah, Texas, on February 17, 1943, to Jewell Robert and Hazel Lorena Nail Carr.

She was a homemaker and mother. She was a Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her husband of 42 years, Gilbert Thomas Wicker, Sr. of Emmet; three sons, Thomas Wicker of Hope, Shelton Wicker of Robert, La., and Junior Hart of Emmet; two daughters, Anna Henley and Leslie King both of Hope; four brothers, O.H. Brooks, Wilbert Brooks, Clyde Carr and Randy Carr all of Houston, Texas; one sister, Jewell Robin Tidwell of Spring, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, with Rev. Richard Sorrells officiating. Burial to follow in Caney Cemetery in Caney. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
