Larue Weeks

Mrs. Larue Weeks, 59, of Athens, Texas, formerly of Emmet, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at her home.

Mrs. Weeks was born on October 10, 1944, in Hope to Murrell O. and Helen Joyce Hamilton Booker.

She was an administrative assistant in the banking/property management business. She was preceded in death by her father, Murrell O. Booker. She was a devoted mother and loving friend. Her love of the Lord was evident in her everyday life. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include three sons, Christopher Weeks of Athens, Texas; Jason Weeks of Kaufman, Texas and Todd Weeks of Plano, Texas; her mother, Helen Joyce Booker of Emmet; one brother, Don Booker of Little Rock; three sisters, Amber Hughes of Prescott, Bonnie Breeding of Hope and Tamera Spell of Emmet; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at The Emmet United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Purtle and Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed in the Snell Cemetery in Emmet under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
