Mrs. Elsie Mae Ridgell Elmore, 91, or Prescott, died Monday, February 2, 2004, in Hope.

She was born December 20, 1912, in Prescott, to Herbert Malichi and Martha Tennessee "Tennie" Ridgell.

She was a housewife. She was a member of the Boughton Baptist Church Nevada County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Harold Elmore; one brother, Dick Ridgell; one sister, Bertie Brown; and one grandchild, Harold Allison.

Her survivors include: two sons, Eppie Elmore and Lou of Winnsboro, Tex., and Tommy Elmore and Helen of Montrose; two daughters, Martha Ann Allison and Barney of Hamburg and Cat Jester and Pete of Prescott; one brother, Joe Ridgell of Sulphur Springs, Tex.; two sisters, Evelyn Hooks of Prescott and Katie Pittman of Fort Worth, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2004, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial followed in Piney Grove Cemetery Boughton. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Wednesday, February 9, 2004, from 6-9 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
