Jimmy Tittle

Mr. Jimmy Charles Tittle, 40, of Hope, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, January 24, 2004, in Willisville.

He was born March 23, 1963, in Hope to Charles F. and Lura June Tyler Tittle.

He was a roofer. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jimmy Charles Tittle, Jr.; one brother, Robert A. Tittle and one niece, Lisa Keeney.

His survivors include: two sons, Jimmy Darrell Tittle and Robert Lynn Tittle both of Gainsville, Tex.; one daughter, Jamie June "Sissy" Tittle of Dallas, Tex.; his fianci, Tammy Fry of Hope; two brothers, Norman C. Taylor of New Orleans, La., and Allie Frank Tittle of Willisville; four sisters, Sandra Billups and Carolyn Walker both of Mt. Pleasant, Tex., Sharon Marlar of Willisville, and Karen Brandt of Texarkana, Tex.; one grandson, Michael Anthony Tittle of Dallas, Tex.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were 2 p.m Thursday, January 29, 2004, at Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, with Rev. S. Joseph Geno officiating. Burial was in Columbus Cemetery, Columbus. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Family received friends Wednesday, January 28, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
