Clyde Auxier

Clyde Harrell Auxier, 63, died December 1, 2003, in Springfield. He was a 50 year resident.

He was born in Prescott on January 13, 1940. Parents names are Clyde Madison and Hazel Ellen (Wake) Auxier.

He served in the USAF. He grew up in Prescott until the age of 13, when he moved to Springfield. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1958 then began working at Weyerhaueser. He retired in 2002 after 37 years as a devoted employee. When he was younger, he enjoyed drag racing. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, airplanes and race cars.

He is survived by three daughters, Tonya and Troy Perkins of Springfield, Angela Burgess of Seattle, Wash., and Meagan and Brent Rohr of Grants Pass; former wife, Janet Auxier of Eugene; one sister, Shirley Schaaf of Eugene; and nine grandchildren.

Services were at 11 a.m. December 5, 2003, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints/Market Street Building. Visitation was 10-11 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
