Thomas Franklin Buie, 78, of Prescott, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2003. at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana.

Mr. Buie was born on September 5, 1925, in Bowden, the son of Charles Edward, Sr. and Ruby Ann (Witherspoon) Buie.

He was owner of a service station in Prescott before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie and brother, Charles Edward.

Survivors include: his wife, Sue, of the home; one daughter, Judy Hughes of Prescott; three sons, Tommy Buie and wife, Cherry of Conway; Eddie Buie of Prescott; and Larry Bradley and wife, Virginia of Prescott; two grandchildren, Lisa Bradley and Marle Blevins; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Hampton, Justin Hampton, and Bailey Blevins; his mother, Ruby of Prescott; and one brother, Lonnie Buie of Prescott.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 15, 2003, in the chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Cross officiating. Burial was at DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Shackleford Funeral Home of Prescott. Visitation was Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
