Viola EllsworthPublished Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesViola May Burton Ellsworth, 90, of Arkadelphia, died Tuesday, November 11, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born May 17, 1913, in Hollywood, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lillie Little Burton. She was retired with the Timex Watch Corp., a former Okolona School Librarian and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was the widow of Lynwood Ellsworth and preceded in death by one step-son: Lynn Ellsworth; three sisters: Irene Jones, Pearl Tarpley and Marie Huff; five brothers: Lawrence, Horace, Clarence, Claude and Russell Burton. Survivors are a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 13, at 1 p.m. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Alan and Jeddy LaVar officiating.
