Etta RussellPublished Wednesday, November 12, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneEtta Lucille Russell, 72, of Prescott, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2003, at Baptist Health in Little Rock. Mrs. Russell was born on May 18, 1931, in Vernon Parish, Louisiana, the daughter of Joseph L. and Cassie E. (Morrison) Marsh. She was a homemaker, member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 8671, and a Baptist. Survivors include: one son, Kenneth Russell of Prescott and one sister, Alma Nell Burks of El Paso, Tex. Funeral services were held Friday, November 7, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home with Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Visitation was Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment was at Okolona Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
