George Sullivan, Sr.

Mr. George L. Sullivan, Sr., 81, of Prescott, died Saturday, October 25, 2003, at his home.

He was born October 5, 1922, in Hope, to Joseph Matthew and Olar Leonis Bumpers Sullivan.

He was a former employee of Potlatch. He was a Church of Christ and he attended the First Church of the Nazarene of Prescott. He was a member of C.C. Corp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Pugh Sullivan, who died in 1986, one brother, J.M. Sullivan, and by three sisters, ruby Padgett, Lennie Smith, and Madge Curry.

His survivors include: two sons, George L. Sullivan, Jr. of Prescott, James Matthew "Jimmy" Sullivan and Trisha of Ashdown; three daughters, Mary "Jackie" Sullivan of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Carrie Lawrence and Charlie of Prescott and Susan Mulholland of Prescott; one granddaughter, Brandi Johnson of Prescott; nine grandsons; four step-grandsons, two step-granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Mr. Herbert Morrow officiating. Burial followed in Mouser Cemetery, Rocky Mound Community of Hope. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Monday, October 27, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish.
