BM-GW Sponsor Skills Fair April 10Published Wednesday, April 7, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneYou do not want to miss Life Skills Fair, sponsored by the Boys to Men and Girls to Women (BM-GW) Coalition of Prescott. It will be held April 10 at Prescott Middle School. Registration will start at 8:45 a.m. First general session will begin at 9:15 a.m. and break- out sessions will start at 9:30. This program is scheduled to end at 1:30 p.m. The following topics and will be covered: Anger Management and Student Attitude presented by Rep. Robert White; Life Skills (CPR), Pam Teague; Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention, Susan Rumph; Nutrition, Dr. Rosemary Rodiabaugh; STDs and Teen Pregnancy, Patricia Blake; and Grooming and Making Impressions on Boys and Girls will be presented by Beth Ward. Other presenters will be announced at the opening session. All mentors and mentees are asked to come to be a part of this fair. Interested parents and other adults are welcome to attend also. BM-GW is a non-profit organization established to help young men and women avoid the use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco and gang violence, and to assist them in becoming productive citizens in our society.
