Linnell Alexander

Mrs. Linnell Meeks Alexander, 80 of Okolona, died Thursday, October 9, 2003, at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Hot Springs.

She was born May 12, 1923, in Clark Co. to L.J. and Hettie Thomas Meeks.

She was a homemaker and she was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Okolona.

Her survivors include: her husband, Curtis Alexander of Okolona; one son, Larry Alexander of Little Rock; and three daughters, Carolyn Alexander of Okolona, Alice Alexander of North Little Rock and Doris Hale of Beaumont, Tex.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2003, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Okolona with Rev. Rufus Hatley and Rev. Alvin Hunter officiating. Burial followed in the Harrison Chapel Cemetery in Delight. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

A wake was held Monday, October 13, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
