Marie RogersPublished Wednesday, October 8, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMarie (Recee) Rogers, 64, of Buckner, died Thursday, October 2, 2003, at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Tex. She was born November 4, 1938, in Nevada County. She was a homemaker and attended the Sardis Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Merrill of Buckner; one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Julie Rogers of Stamps; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Tony Robinson of Conway, and Teressa and Andy Bollinger of Slidell, La; one brother, Harold Richardson of Emmet; three sisters, Louise Wallace, Inez Randle, and Ruth Edwards all of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2003, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with the Rev. Charles Walthall and Mickey May officiating with burial in the Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
