David PoechhackerPublished Wednesday, October 8, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneDavid F. Poechhacker, 50, of Prescott, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2003, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. David was born on February 17, 1953, in Modesto, California, the son of William Carl and Margaret (Chiotti) Poechhacker. He worked as a forklift driver at Anthony Timberland Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carl and Margaret; one brother, Richard Maldonado; and companion, Barbara Smelser. Survivors include: one son, David Anthony Poechhacker of Benton; four brothers, Gary and Doug Poechhacker both of Hayward, Calif., Rudy Maldonado of Modesto, Calif., and Billy Poechhacker of Connecticut; five sisters, Kathy Poechhacker of Prescott, Debbie Poechhacker and Phyllis Pascano both of Hayward, Calif., and Carol Badiny and Judy Curtiss both of Monterey, Calif. Graveside services were Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at the DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home.
