Jina MoorePublished Wednesday, September 24, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesCUBA, Ala. Jina Michele Moore, 24, of Cuba, Ala., died September 12, 2003, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. She was born May 21, 1979, in Gurdon. She was a 1997 graduate of Saline Christian Academy. She was a member of Cuba Baptist Church and was employed by the bank of York. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Curt and Etta Moore. Survivors include: her mother and stepfather, Ralph and Diane (Hastings) Parten of Cuba, Ala.; Her father Gene Moore of Gurdon; Her fianci Paul Guy of Meridian, Miss.; four sister and their families, Carrie Moore and Hank Hawes of Montgomery, Ala., Mandy and Joey Hall, Monica and Scott Walker, and Rhonda and Bobby Hatcher of Cuba, Ala.; grandparents Billy and Rebecca Hastings of Wynne; and three nephews, Dylan and Hunter Walker, and Robbie Hatcher all of Cuba, Ala. Funeral services were held Monday, September 15, 2003, in Cuba Baptist Church with Dr. Hugh Poole and Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating. Burial was in Clay Memorial Cemetery in Cuba, Ala., under the direction on Bumpers Funeral Home of York, Ala. Pallbearers were Heath Sharp, Charles Fisher, Chuck Cummins, James Guy, Jeff Saunders and Butch Carter. Honorary Pallbearers were the Bank of York employees.
