LaTasha Washington

LaTasha Renee Washington, 12, of Livermore, Calif., departed this life on August 5, 2003.

She was born on January 3, 1991, in Livermore, California, to Tracy Washington and Cedrick Bryant.

LaTasha attended Manchester Avenue Elementary School, Budlong Avenue School and she graduated from Menlo Elementary, from there she went on to Foshay Learning Center as a sixth grader. She was a member of the Harvard park Modern and Hip Hop dance group and Girl Scouts of America. LaTasha enjoyed playing with her Barbie doll, watching T.V., riding her bike and hanging out with her best friend and cousin Destany. Her favorite pasttime was eating Lay's or Pringle chips with dip. She also loved going to the local nail shop for her pedicure and manicure, on thing about that she had a love for bright colors so you never knew what color those nails would be, but that was LaTasha.

She had several nicknames, Miss Tosh, Little Liz and potato chip girl and last but not least Jamaica Girl. LaTasha will be remembered by the way she crossed her legs and performed around the house, playing dress up with her niece and cousins.

LaTasha was survived by her mother, Tracy and her father Cedrick. She is also survived by her grandmothers, Elizabeth Washington and Lavhana Gay, her grandfather Freddie Broughton, her sisters, LaToya Daniels, D'Asha Williams, Cendrena Bryant and Chardee Bryant, her brothers John Daniels Jr, and Cedrick Bryant Jr., her aunts, Tujunga Broughton, Tammy Moore, Cheryl Bryant, Lisa Manual and Shatecia Broughton, her uncles Randy Johnson and Bryant Moore, cousins, Rannesha Johnson, Destany Thomas, Desmond Barrow and Jonathon Gulley, one niece D'Asia Moorer and one nephew Dai'Jon Richardson, great aunts Lula Roberts, Georgia Washington, Velma Washington, Ida Washington and Delores Davis, godmothers, Myrdle Owens and Sonja Broughton.
