Edna Jennings

Edna Mary Brown Jennings, 89, of Frankston, Tex., formerly of Gurdon, died Thursday, August 21, 2003.

Mrs. Jennings was born May 20, 1914, in Gurdon.

She was a retired chef and a Baptist.

She is survived by her two sons and three daughters; Herbert Allen Jennings of Waskom, Tex., and Roy Clarence Jennings of Mt. Pleasant, Tex., Betty Janel Jennings Howell of Gardendale, Tex., Dorothy Mae Jennings Curry of El Dorado, and Velma Lucille Jennings Woodward of Doyline, La.

She was also survived by 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jennings was proceeded in death by her husband, Hubert Cyrus Jennings, daughter, Jaunita McGowan, four brothers and four sisters.

Services were held on Sunday, August 24 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston, Tex.
