Armbands available for fairBY AUTUMN PENNINGTONPublished Wednesday, September 3, 2003 in the Gurdon Times Don't forget Armband Night at the Clark County Fair. Each year there are designated night's at the fair for those who want to have unlimited riding on the carnival rides, to do so. These nights are Armband Nights. This year's fair will have an Armband night on Tuesday, September 9, starting at 6 p.m. and on both Wednesday and Thursday nights starting at the same time. A different armband must be purchased each night. The armband tickets may be purchased early at First State Bank of Gurdon and US Bank in Gurdon. Those who purchase tickets early will save money. The cost of advanced armband tickets is $7. When tickets are received they should be presented at the ticket booth at the fair in order to receive an armband. Tickets may be used for any night of the week, but can only be used once. Tickets will go on sale at the areas banks on Tuesday, September 2 through Monday, September 8.
