Marie Loe

Mrs. Marie Dale Jones Loe, 83, of Hope, died Monday, August 18, 2003 in Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana, Tex.

She was born February 22, 1920, in Boughton, to John Thomas and Adelaide Cook Jones.

She was a retired cafeteria cook from Laneburg Public Schools. She loved to can and freeze food, sew, and create ceramics.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Loe who died March 20, 2003.

Her survivors include four sons, Joseph Ciaccio of DeAnn, John N. Loe and Mary Nell of Hope, Tom Loe of Emmet, and Guy Loe and Karen of Millwood; one daughter, Jan Munn and Danny of Benton; two sisters, Christine Otwell of Texarkana, Tex. and Jean Clem of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2003, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Family received friends Wednesday, August 20, 2003, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
