Ira BowserPublished Wednesday, August 20, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Ira J. Bowser, 58, of Prescott, died Friday, August 15, 2003, in Prescott. He was born December 31, 1944, in Tampa, Fla. to Wilford Joseph and Ellen McGrady Bowser. He was in maintenance at Firestone in Prescott. He was a Catholic, board member at the Nevada County Day Service Center and the Firestone Fitness Center, former Boy Scouts Troop Leader, member of Prescott V.F.W. and member of "Little Mo" Deer Camp. He was preceded in death by his father. His survivors include: his wife, Nancee Saunders Bowser of Prescott; one son, Chad Bowser of Prescott; one daughter, Michelle Hicks and Terry, of Prescott; his mother, Ellen Bowser Chaich of Ohio; stepfather, Ted Chaiche of Ohio; two brothers, Walter Bowser and Wilford "Willy" Bower both of Ohio; two sisters, Virginia Bowser Chaich of Ohio and Ellen Bowser Prybuto of Syracuse, New York; and three grandchildren, Jessica, Brandie, and Tyler. Funeral services were Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Joe Miller and Rev. Raymond Hicks officiating. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Monday, August 18, 2003, from 6-8 p. m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
