Anna Rives

Anna E. Rives died Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at Innovis Health in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 81.

Anna Maultsby was born on March 6, 1922, in San Saba, Texas, the daughter of Charley B. and Velma M. (Belt) Maultsby.

She was united in marriage to Don M. Rives on December 9, 1939. They made their home in Pearland and Manvel, Tex. for many years. Anna has lived with her daughter for the past five years in South and North Dakota.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Don M. Rives, Jr.; her brothers, C.B. Maultsby and Thomas O. Maultsby; her grandsons, Charley B. Rives, Jr. and Don S. Rives.

She is survived by her sister, Carrie M. Webb of Prescott; her daughter, Donna M. (John) Guillott of Fargo, North Dakota; her sons, Thomas G. (Janan) Rives of Friendswood, Tex., Billy R. (Pat) Rives of Texas City, Tex., Willard C. (Hazel) Rives of Manvel, Tex., and Charley B. (Geneva) Rives of Manvel, Tex.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Manvel, Tex and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2003, at the Prairie Lakes Baptist Church in Watertown, South Dakota.
