Tuck HisawPublished Wednesday, July 23, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesTuck Hisaw, 86, of Gurdon, died Thursday, July 10, 2003. Mr. Hisaw was a foreman for International Paper Co. and a member of Beech Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nellie E. Otwell Hisaw of Gurdon; one son, Kendall Hisaw and wife, Viola of Morgan City, La.; one daughter, Amelia Ligon and husband, Billy of Meridian, Miss.; two brothers, henry Hisaw of Columbian, S.C., and Harvey S. Hisaw of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters, Vera DePrima of Mesa, Ariz., and Hilda Lee of Washington; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Keith Robertson. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 13, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Guthrie and Rev. Rick Pryon officiating.
