S.T. MansonPublished Wednesday, July 23, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesS. T. Manson, 87, of Curtis died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia. He was born Feb. 23, 1916, in Quasqueton, Iowa, the son of the late Charles and Mildred Taylor Manson. He was a machinist for 42 years for Chamberlain Manufacturing and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Edna Louise Manson Verhines and Delpha Jean Manson. Survivors include: His wife, Lillian Edna Minger Manson; one daughter, Billie Kay Manson Snell of Curtis; one brother, Garnard Manson of Arlington, Texas; one grandson, Charles S.T. Verhines; and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Louise Verhines. Funeral was held Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Lewis officiating.
