George Washington HunterPublished Wednesday, April 7, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneGeorge Washington Hunter, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, April 1, 1999, at his residence. Mr. Hunter was born January 23, 1913, in Prescott and lived in Texarkana since 1968, moving from Rosston. He was a retired minister and a member of the Nazarene Church. Survivors include a special companion, Mary Turner of Texarkana, Texas; three daughters, Janet White of Mesquite, Texas, Phyllis Kirk of Dallas, Texas, and Gloria Boles of Houston, Texas; one sister, Jane Duncan of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, April 5, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Texarkana with the Rev. Raymond Hicks officiating.
