Marie McMasterPublished Wednesday, July 9, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Marie E. Huskey McMaster, 89, of Okolona, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia. She was born June 6, 1914, in Hempstead Co. to James A. and Alice Yarberry Huskey. She was a homemaker and zipper seamstress with Levi-Strauss Co. for more than 27 years. She was a member of the Okolona Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Monroe McMaster who died in 1954, one granddaughter, five brothers, and five sisters. Survivors include: Tommy McMaster of Longview, Texas and John McMaster of Jacksonville; two daughters, Nina Smith of Jasper, Texas and Joyce Golden of Okolona; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins with Rev. N.C. Bryan officiating. Burial followed. Arrangementsby Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Wednesday, July 2, 2003, until service time at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Twin Rivers Health and Rehab, P.O. Box 986, Arkadelphia, Ark. 71923 or Sweet Home Community Building, c/o Joyce Floyd, 6766 Hwy 371, Prescott or the Okolona Baptist Church, c/o Anita Malcom, 420 Smyrna Road, Okolona, Ark. 71962.
