Mary Glass

Mrs. Mary Alice Glass, 81, of Prescott, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana.

She was born on November 3, 1921, in Hempstead County to Will and Alice Howell McCain.

She was a member of Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Glass, who died in 1986; and by one niece, Judy Shackelford.

Her survivors include: one son, George Darrell Glass and Vickie of Prescott; one brother, Buddy McCain of Morehouse, Mo.; three grandchildren, Michael Glass of Hope, David Glass and Allison Kisselburg both of Prescott; three great-grandchildren, Jenna Glass, Tyler Glass and Cody Kisselburg; and one special nephew, Jewell Riley of Alexander, La.

Funeral services were 2 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2003, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Raymond Hicks and Rev. Tal Webb officiating. Burial was in Caney Cemetery in Caney. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Wednesday, July 2, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
