Florence McPherson

Florence (Trevillion) McPherson, 84, of Hot Springs, formerly of Stuttgart, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at her home.

Mrs. McPherson was born July 30, 1918, at Prescott, a daughter of the late Homer C. Leona (Wynn) Trevillion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McPherson; a brother, Watson Trevillion and a sister, Irene Snell.

She was a homemaker and former employee of the Office of Price and Administration for the Federal Government; and the Farmers Home Administration. She was Methodist.

Florence was an avid Bridge Player and a certified Master Player. She also taught Bridge. She was also a member of the Stuttgart Garden Club until she moved to Hot Springs in 1974.

She is survived by nephews, Bennie H. Trevillion and wife Kathy; Jay Trevillion and wife Becky, all of Prescott; a sister-in-law, Lillian Trevillion of Prescott and a host of great-nephews and nieces.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2003, in the Chapel of Gross Funeral Home, 700 Richard St., Hot Springs.

Entombment services were 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003, at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart, by Gross Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Hot Springs Bridge Club, 3907 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
