Fay TuckerPublished Wednesday, June 25, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesFay Coy Reynolds Tucker of Gurdon, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 14, 2003. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her loving husband, Riley Lee Tucker, parents, Sam and Pearl Reyolds Tucker and a twin, Ray Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a loving mother. She leaves behind a daughter, Rita and son in-law, Joe Stricklin of Gurdon; a son, Ray and wife, Bettye Tucker of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Welch of Gurdon and Marcell Vick of El Dorado; five grandchildren, Lita Gattis, Cindy Haltom, Tommy Stricklin and Greg and Brent Tucker; and seven great-grandchildren. Like her father, she loved the Democratic party. She served as committee woman for 31 years and was named outstanding Democrat of Clark County in 1998. She attended Red Springs Baptist Church most of her life. Services were held Tuesday, June 17, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Sonny Tucker officiating.
