You all know I'm a nut about my electric blanket. All of you would know this man I'm about to tell you about if I called his name. So I'll just tell you he reached to turn his blanket on and to his surprise his wife had taken it off. To keep from calling names, we'll call his wife Vera and say shame on you.

Roy, Betty and Nubby Cagle have returned from a trip to California. They saw a nephew they had not seen in 40 years. His name is John Wingfield. He and his wife in Paso Robles, Calif. They also visited two nieces, Jean and Joyce, near San Francisco, also Pat and Don Anderson near Reno, Nev. They also visited many interesting places, such as Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. They were in sunshine on their way out and snow nearly all the way home. Southern route out and northern back.

Lola Cagle from Dallas spent the weekend with Roy and Betty celebrating her brother Roy's birthday.

Friends of Beulah Cagle will be glad to know she is some better.

Sam and Patsy Rowe from Alvin, Texas, and their daughter, Elizabeth, from New York is spending a few days with Patsy's mother, Thais McLelland.

Gary and Gawyn Golden from Murfreesboro and Grant from Hope had lunch on Wednesday with George and Joey Cox.

Kay and Junior Hendrix had a family get together and egg hunt on Sunday. Their son, Casey, was home from Little Rock.

We were happy to have our son-in-law and daughter-in-law Betty and Tim Wilson from Texarkana visit us and Randy, Charity and Caleb Lowdermilk on Sunday.

Billie Ridling had 33 family members and friends visiting on Easter Sunday.

Lela Faye and Bill Ridling had about 20 family members visiting on Easter Sunday.

Shady Grove Baptist Church would like to say thanks to the men who cooked breakfast, to those who attended sunrise service and the work put into the program.

Danny, Cherrie and Katy Wilson fixed Easter lunch for her brother, Norman, from Camden, her sister, Carolyn Cullins, from Little Rock and Grandma Mozelle from Hillcrest Care and Rehab.

Katy Wilson spent Wednesday and Thursday night in Texarkana with Kim and Samantha Gordon. Katy also spent Friday and Friday night in Texarkana with Brittany Pedigo.

Bonita Whitecotton of Shreveport spent several days last week with her mother, Marie McKelvy, who has been in the hospital.

Dale and Roberta Crellin from Louisiana spent the weekend with his son, Clark Crellin, and his family.

Friday night Jerry, Corinna, Sara and Shelbi Booker had family over to celebrate Easter. Those attending were Corey and Kaycee Booker and their children, Dalton, Niki, Abby and Tori; Tate Booker and Jamie Fore; Bobbie Booker; Sophie Taylor; Sandra Browning; Shelly and Brandon Rhodes; Sheri, David and Shana Moore; and the Easter bunny even stopped in for a visit.
