Edna FormbyPublished Wednesday, June 11, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Edna Mae Formby, 86, of Prescott, died Sunday, June 8, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born January 14, 1917, in Bluff City, to Ellis Taylor and Ella F. Billingsley Sudsberry. She was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Formby, who died on December 15, 1980. Her survivors include one son: Kenneth Formby and Linda of Prescott; one sister, Floy Haynie and Carl of Houston; and two grandchildren, Al Formby and Kim of Prescott and Hope Hatley and Michael of Prescott. Graveside services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in Bluff City Cemetery in Bluff City with Mr. Harley Sisson officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Monday, June 9, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
