James HendrixPublished Wednesday, June 11, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneJames William Hendrix, 56, of Antoine, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at his home. Mr. Hendrix was a long time employee of Anthony Timberland in Arkadelphia and a member of Antoine Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Senator Olen and Carmen Hendrix, one brother, Gerald Hendrix and one nephew, Scott Baldwin. Survivors include his wife, Adrienne Hendrix of Antoine; two daughters, Cortney Lee and her husband, Rick of Saginaw, Texas and Carma Leigh Hendrix of Benton; two sons, Eric Hendrix and his wife, Shelia of Antoine and Anthony Holcombe and his wife, Mindy of Glenwood; five grandchildren; one brother, Darwin Hendrix and his wife, Beth of Antoine; one sister, Annette Baldwin and her husband, Dr. Jack Baldwin of Marshall, Texas; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Hendrix of Antoine and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 4, at the Antoine Church of Christ with Wallace Alexander, Jon Chadwell and Gene Jester officiating.
