HillcrestPublished Wednesday, April 7, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Edyth Hughes' guest were Sam Rowe and daughter Betsy from Texas. Jo DeWoody from Gurdon spent Wednesday afternoon with her Aunt Lillian Terrell. Don and Mary Rugales paid a visit to her mother Estelle Yancey recently. Roderick and Jewel Marsh from Gurdon and Donna Marsh visited Mrs. Bert Marsh over the weekend. They brought her a beautiful picture and clock. Sue Cowart from Blevins, Vernell and Olen Loe and Lou Barksdale were visitors of Gladys Hawley. Mozelle Gill enjoyed a visit to her granddaughter Cherri Wilson's house over the weekend. While there, her daughter Carolyn came to see her. Norman Gill from Camden also came and brought Mozelle a beautiful pot of tulips. Leslie Sutton never fails to visit his wife, Faye, several times a day. Meredith DeWoody and Charlene Koger visit their grandmother, Eshel Pledger, quite often. Mrs. Pledger says, "It makes my day." Bonita Whitecotton from Shreveport spent some time last week with her mother, Marie McKelvy, in the Hope hospital. Mrs. Odell Collier visited her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Elzie Carmen, last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard enjoyed a visit from Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Dillard last Monday and J.E. and Travis visited them on Saturday. Mr. and mrs. Billy Bob Rhodes also visited with their parents. Several residents visited their families over the weekend.
