Douglas Wicker

Douglas B. Wicker of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at a local hospital.

Mr. Wicker was born May 10, 1924, in Prescott.

He was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and East Funeral Home. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Wicker, of Texarkana, Texas; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dudley and Stephanie Wicker of West Valley City, Utah, Danny and Penny Wicker of Texarkana, Texas and Dennis and Deanna Wicker of Texarkana, Ark.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and JW Figueroa of Oklahoma City, Okla., Darlene and Brian Brouillette of Round Rock, Texas and Debra and Gerard Morse of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Ethel Ellis of Prescott; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services were 11 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2003, at East Memorial Chapel, Moores Lane with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Caney Cemetery, Prescott, under the direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Family were at #14 Lambeth Rd. Texarkana, Texas.
