Frances BrysonPublished Wednesday, May 7, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Frances Lamerie Herring Bryson, 84, of Prescott, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, in Heritage Park Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born August 20, 1918, in Opelika, Alabama, to Otis M. and Leila Gunter Herring. She was homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Prescott. She was preceded in death by her husbands, L.J. Bryson, James Henry Ford, and Earl Menser; and one brother, Otis M. Herring, Jr. Her survivors include: two sons, James Ford of Rogers, and Tommy Ford of Prescott; one daughter, Phyllis Anglin of Horn Lake, Miss.; three brothers, Thurston Herring of Opelika, Ala., Robert Herring of Prattville, Ala. and Donnie Herring of Dadeville, Ala.; one sister Nina Jones of Sumter, S.C.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2003, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Family received friends Saturday, May 3, 2003, from 4-6 p.m. at the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
