Irena Hawkins

Mrs. Irena Beebe Hawkins "Miss Inie" 88, of Rosston, died Friday, April 25, 2003, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

She was born March 11, 1915, in Simpson, Louisiana, to William Clifton Beebe, Sr. and Edith Strictland Beebe.

She was a former hotel cashier/clerk. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rosston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Hawkins; one sister, Letha Beebe; one brother-in-law, Max Morman; and by one nephew, Gary Morman.

Her survivors include: one brother, W.C. Beebe, Jr. and Ruth of Perrytown; one sister, Lyn Dean Morman of Rosston; two nephews, Tom Beebe and Lisa of Cabot and Max Morman and Wendy of Rosston; two nieces, Virginia Ann Throgmorton of Magnolia, and Tami and Mike Cottingham of Prescott; four great nieces; three great nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Rosston, with Rev. Petie Ward and Rev. Mark Faulkner and officiating. Burial was in Rosston Cemetery in Rosston. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Saturday, April 26, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
