Mary ThompsonPublished Wednesday, April 30, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMary Lee Thompson, 84, of Prescott, died April 23, 2003, at Arkansas Heart Hospital. She was a retired registered nurse. She was born in Emmet on September 9, 1918. She was a member of the Emmet First Methodist Church. She was the daughter of O.V. and Birdie Mae Segler Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, O.V. Thompson, Jr. and Claude Thompson; one sister, Vee Edna Duffy. Survivors include: two sisters, June Still of Hope and JoAnn Givens of Houston; one brother, John Thompson of Hope and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2003, in the Herndon Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed in the Snell Cemetery in Emmet.
