Eula Eason

Eula Mae Bever Eason, 91, of Arkadelphia, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia.

She was born April 21, 1911, in Nevada County, the daughter of the late Henry Kirk and Florence Edna Ledbetter Bever.

She was a retired nurse with Clark County Hospital, worked for Levi Strauss Co., and volunteered for abused children and foster grandparent program for six years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Williams Greelee and John Hason; her daughter, Marcelline Greenlee, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Kluck and Rev. John Blase officiating. Interment was at 1:30 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery at Camden.

Family hours were 6-8 p.m. Monday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund.

Pallbearers were Leon Crow, Melvin Hardage, Roy Joe Williams, Richard Carter, Floyd Brantley, and Bob Neal.
