Luke EasleyPublished Wednesday, April 16, 2003 in the Gurdon TimesLuke "Duke" Easley, 38, of Gurdon died recently. He was born April 10, 1964 in Gurdon, son of Roy Elmer and Lavelle McClure Easley. He was a member of Oak Grove Community Church. Survivors include: his parents; six brothers, Philip Easley and Dusty and his wife Kitty Easley of Arkadelphia and Roy Lynn, Lester, Mark and Nick Easley of Gurdon; two sisters, Charlotte Whitley of Arkadelphia and Lisa Jones of Prescott. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2003, in the Easley Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Rogers and Bro. Harry Stone officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Royce McClure, Jerry Palmer, Donald Warren, David McDaniel, Danny McDaniel and John Wayne McClure.
