Ida Clark

Ida Mae McGuire Clark, 85, died at Millington, Tennessee on February 19, 2003.

She was born in Prescott on April 29, 1917, the daughter of the late Saxon P. and Ida Dillon McGuire.

She was the widow of the late Merel Dean Clark of Horatio and Millington, Tennessee.

She was a graduate and Valedictorian of Prescott High School, Southern Arkansas University and the University of Arkansas, organist for 52 years at First Methodist Church in Millington, Tennessee and former piano teacher.

Survived by two daughters, Betty Sigler of Millington, Tn. and Rebecca Clark of Mandeville, Louisiana, and one son, William D. Clark of Memphis, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews; one sister, Annie Dean McGuire Rodgers of Bellevue, Washington; and one brother, Dr. William S. McGuire of Corvallis, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ethel Rae McGuire Ferguson.

Services were held at First United Methodist Church in Millington, Tennessee, on Saturday, February 22, followed by burial at Woodhaven Cemetery.
