John LoePublished Wednesday, March 26, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. John R. Loe, 78, of Hope, died Thursday, March 20, 2003, at his home. He was born June 9, 1924, in Blevins, to James Samuel and Bobbie Simpson Loe. He was a retired postal worker. He was a Methodist and an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hempstead County Cattleman's and member of Disabled American Veterans Association. His survivors include: his wife, (of 54 years) Marie Jones Loe of Hope; four sons, John N. Loe of Hope, Tom Loe of Emmet, Guy Loe of Ashdown (Milwood), and Joseph Ciaccio of DeAnn; one daughter, Jan Munn of Benton; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland and Rev. Lynn Loe officiating.
