Joseph BreitenbachPublished Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in the Nevada County PicayuneJoseph Breitenbach, 83, of Rosston, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Breitenbach was born on March 9, 1920, in Louisville, Ken. He was the son of Joseph Breitenbach, Sr. and Myrtl (Kray) Breitenbach. Josheph was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII. He had work as an electronic technician with General Dynamics. Joseph was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans since 1944. Mr. Breitenbach was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mrs. Gladys Breitenbach. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Louise and Arnold Trippett of Rosston; one step-sister, Margaret Atkins of New Albany, Ind.; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Sunday, March 16, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Rosston Cemetery. Bro. Jim Cross officiated under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
