Chamber Fashion Show April 17

It's time once again for the annual Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce Fashion Show.

This year's fashion show will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the Potlatch building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Its theme will be "Spring into Spring."

According to Mary Godwin, executive director of the Chamber, tickets will cost $7.50 each. A dress rehearsal is scheduled for Friday, April 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds.

Door prizes will be given away during the show, with a luncheon to be served. The menu consists of chicken salad with crackers, a marinated salad, vegetables, carrot cake, tea and coffee.

Several types of entertainment will be provided, with plans including segments on wigs and hair pieces, seven-day wonder in a bag and how to hide trouble spots with clothing.

Seating for the fashion show is limited, so Godwin is urging tickets to be purchased in advance by those planning to attend.
